NSMQ 2026: Senya SHS, Wesley Girls’ High School and Enyan Denkyira SHS qualify for Nationals on the last day of Central Regional Qualifiers

Senya SHS, Wesley Girls’ High School and Enyan Denkyira SHS have secured qualification to the national championship after impressive wins on the final day of the Central Regional Qualifiers. Below is a summary of the last day of contests in Cape Coast.

Senya SHS outclasses Winneba Secondary School in Contest Seven

Senya SHS set the tone in the day’s first contest with a commanding display against Winneba Secondary School. They finished on 68 points, ahead of Winneba Secondary School’s 43, with Fettehman SHS and Assin Manso SHS posting 26 and 16 points respectively. 

Wesley Girls’ High School cruise to victory with 51-point margin in Contest Eight

In the next contest, Wesley Girls’ High School produced the day’s most dominant performance, cruising to a 70-point finish. Fettehman SHS, who came in as a Top Runner-up following a late withdrawal to ensure a three-school contest, managed 19 points, while Enyan-Maim SHS followed with 13 points.

Enyan Denkyira SHS narrowly defeats Assin State College, Abakrampa SHTS and Diaso SHS in Contest Nine

The final contest of the day delivered a tighter finish, as Enyan Denkyira SHS edged past Assin State College, Abakrampa SHTS and Diaso SHS to claim victory. Enyan Denkyira SHS finished with 33 points, just two clear of Assin State College, who scored 31 points, while Abakrampa SHTS and Diaso SHS ended with 26 and 24 points respectively.
