University Practice SHS Secures Spot at Central Regional Championship Final

The third contest of the Central Regional Championship featured five schools locked in a thrilling academic battle. University Practice SHS emerged victorious, but the journey to the top was anything but straightforward.

The participating schools were Mankessim Senior High Technical School, Senya SHS, Ghana National College, University Practice SHS, and Winneba Secondary School.
At the end of Round One, Mankessim SHTS set the pace with 23 points. Close behind were University Practice SHS with 22 points and Winneba Secondary School with 18 points. Ghana National College posted 12 points, while Senya SHS rounded things off with 6 points.

Round Two saw a quick shift. University Practice SHS took the lead with 28 points, as Mankessim SHTS followed closely with 25 points. Winneba Secondary School hovered at 17 points. Notably, Senya SHS reached 9 points, a small step forward, while Ghana National College remained on 12 points.

By the end of Round Three, things were heating up. University Practice SHS extended their lead to 38 points, with Mankessim SHTS on 32 points and Winneba Secondary School right on their heels with 30 points. Both Ghana National College and Senya SHS sat level on 19 points, signalling a tense final round ahead.

As the final buzzer sounded, the scoreboard told a story of grit and strategy. University Practice SHS held firm at 38 points, securing a narrow win. Mankessim SHTS pushed hard to finish on 35 points, while Winneba Secondary School impressed with 33 points. Ghana National College moved up to 22 points, leaving Senya SHS at 19 points.
