NSMQ 2025: West Africa SHS Advances to One-eighth Stage, Leaving Nifa SHS and WA SHS Behind

The last contest of Day Two at the Preliminary Stage of the 2025 National Championship featured Nifa SHS, West Africa SHS, and WA SHS. West Africa SHS secured its place in the One-eighth Stage with an impressive 65 points.
The contest began with West Africa SHS and Nifa SHS flaunting their academic prowess over WA SHS. West Africa SHS prevailed in Round One over Nifa SHS by a two-point margin. At the end of the round, West Africa led with 19 points, WA SHS followed with 17, and Nifa SHS managed 16 points.

In the “Trustur AI Speed Race” of Round Two, West Africa SHS widened their lead, extending their tally to 35 points. Nifa SHS overtook WA SHS to reach 20 points, while WA SHS trailed with 15 points.
The “Prudential Life NSMQ Star” round tested contestants’ analytical thinking and teamwork as they tackled the Problem of the Day. West Africa SHS demonstrated solid reasoning to earn six points, bringing their total to 41 points. Nifa SHS added four points to reach 24, while WA SHS managed two points, moving to 17 points.

The power play between the two dominant schools took a new turn in the “JuPay True or False” round. West Africa SHS firmly seized control of the contest, pulling ahead with 59 points, while both Nifa SHS and WA SHS followed with 28 points.
In the “GOIL Riddle Bonanza,” West Africa SHS cemented their dominance. Though Nifa SHS managed to solve two riddles correctly to finish with 35 points, West Africa SHS matched that performance and extended their total to 65 points. WA SHS concluded the contest with 28 points.

For their thrilling performance, West Africa SHS secured a spot in the One-eighth Stage and walked away with the Pepsodent Highest Scorer Award of GH¢1,000.
