NSMQ 2025: Mfantsipim School Secures a Spot in the Quarter-final Stage

The atmosphere at Auditorium 900 was charged with excitement as the Mfantsipim boys rallied behind their contestants, filling the hall with chants and anticipation. Their confidence was unmistakable as they took to the stage, determined to secure a spot in the Quarter-final Stage and defend their title as National Champions.

Each correct answer from the Mfantsipim boys was met with thunderous cheers from their supporters, while moments of uncertainty brought a wave of tension across the auditorium. At the end of Round One, Anglican SHS, Kumasi, led with 19 points, Mfantsipim School followed closely with 17 points, and Sogakope SHS trailed with 12 points.
In Round Two, the “Trustur AI Speed Race”, the tension heightened as Mfantsipim aimed to reclaim the lead. The atmosphere was electric; palms were sweaty and breaths were held as supporters eagerly awaited each response. Deafening cheers erupted when Mfantsipim surged to the top once more. By the end of the round, Mfantsipim School led with 27 points, Anglican SHS, Kumasi, followed with 21 points, and Sogakope SHS remained steady with 16 points.
Before the start of the “Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star Problem of the Day”, Mfantsipim School made a strategic substitution, bringing in Mohammed to replace Ahmed. The move proved effective, as Mfantsipim secured a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Sogakope SHS followed with four points, while Anglican SHS, Kumasi, failed to score.

In Round Four, during the “Jupay Money Transfer True or False” round, Redeemer was brought in to replace Joseph for Sogakope SHS, while Bismark substituted Benjamin for Anglican SHS, Kumasi. The round proved to be another intense battle among the three schools. At the end of it, Mfantsipim School maintained their lead with 47 points, followed by Anglican SHS, Kumasi, with 34 points, while Sogakope SHS trailed with 21 points.

In the fifth and final round, the “GOIL Riddle Bonanza”, the auditorium once again erupted with cheers as Mfantsipim answered the first riddle correctly, their supporters already celebrating what seemed to be a certain victory. By the end of the contest, Mfantsipim School had sealed their spot in the Quarter-final Stage with 53 points and earned GH¢2,400 for scoring a perfect 10 out of 10 in the Problem of the Day.
