NSMQ 2025: Kumasi Academy Books One-Eighth Stage With Steeze!

Auditorium 900 came alive for today’s third and final Preliminary Stage contest, featuring Kumasi Academy, St. Louis SHS, and Bunkpurugu SHTS. From the first question, the auditorium buzzed with cheers, as supporters passionately backed their schools.

All three schools came prepared, confidently attempting to answer as many questions as possible in Round One. The competition began slowly but steadily, eventually swinging in favour of Kumasi Academy, who topped the round with 25 points. St. Louis SHS followed with 15 points, while Bunkpurugu SHTS trailed closely with 12.
In the high-paced 'Trustur AI Speed Race' Round Two, contestants battled to increase their scores in pursuit of a coveted spot in the One-Eighth Stage. Kumasi Academy maintained composure and consistency, stretching their lead to 33 points. St. Louis SHS improved to 17 points, while Bunkpurugu SHTS held at 12 points.

Round Three, the Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star 'Problem of the Day,' made all the difference. Kumasi Academy nailed it with a perfect 10, taking the NSMQ Star award. St. Louis SHS wasn’t far behind with six points, while Bunkpurugu SHTS scored a point.
Before the start of Round Four, Kumasi Academy made a tactical substitution, Opoku Agyeman replaced Kwame. The auditorium's energy peaked, especially from the spirited Bunkpurugu SHTS supporters who cheered their team on with hope and fierce pride.
Despite the roaring encouragement, Bunkpurugu SHTS struggled to meet expectations. Kumasi Academy surged further ahead with 56 points, St. Louis climbed to 33 points, and Bunkpurugu SHTS remained at 17 points.

The final round was marked by a beautiful moment of unity and sportsmanship, as Kumasi Academy supporters joined in cheering for Bunkpurugu SHTS. It was a touching reminder of the true spirit of the NSMQ. Kumasi Academy sealed their qualification with 59 points, St. Louis SHS finished with a commendable 42, while Bunkpurugu SHTS, though not advancing, concluded with 17 points and the admiration of many.
Kumasi Academy’s consistency and composure earned them a well-deserved spot in the One-eighth Stage of NSMQ 2025. St. Louis SHS delivered a solid performance, and Bunkpurugu SHTS, left an unforgettable mark with their courage, resilience, and heart.
