The first contest of the day was charged with excitement, nerves, and fierce intellectual energy as Ashaiman Senior High School battled their way into the One-eighth Stage of the National Science & Maths Quiz, edging out first-timers Abor SHS by just a single point.

The contestants from Ashaiman SHS vowed to deliver a performance that would make their school proud. The atmosphere in the auditorium was charged with tension, yet filled with optimism, as all three schools, Ashaiman SHS, Abor SHS, and Regentropfen SHS, a private school, prepared to showcase the results of months of dedicated preparation.

Ashaiman SHS found their rhythm, surging ahead with 25 points, closely followed by Abor SHS with 21 points, while Regentropfen SHS trailed with 10 points. The cheers from supporters grew louder, urging their teams to keep pushing.

Heading into Round Three, the “Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star”, known as the “Problem of the Day”, Ashaiman made a strategic substitution, bringing in Jerry to replace Caleb. The competition intensified as precision and logic were put to the test. At the end of the round, it was a tie between Ashaiman SHS and Abor SHS, both securing three points, while Regentropfen SHS managed two points.

The change brought renewed energy, but Ashaiman SHS dominated with 41 points, with Abor SHS hot on their heels at 37 points, and Regentropfen SHS closing with 22 points.
Then came the final showdown, Round Five, the “GOIL Riddle Bonanza.” The atmosphere was electric. Contestants from all three schools raced against time, fueled by determination, adrenaline, and the roar of their supporters. Every question, every buzz, every answer mattered.
