NSMQ 2025: Amaniampong SHS Storms Into One-eighth Stage in Style

Amaniampong SHS has made a triumphant return to the National Science & Maths Quiz, qualifying for the One-eighth Stage in a thrilling contest, after narrowly missing out last year. Their impressive display at Auditorium 900 left no doubt about their determination to reclaim their place among the nation’s top contenders.

The atmosphere was electric from the beginning, with loud applause and cheers from the enthusiastic fans of Amaniampong SHS, OLA SHS, HO, and Juaboso SHS filled the auditorium, creating a charged and motivating environment for the contestants.
The contest kicked off with a tightly contested battle between Amaniampong SHS and OLA SHS, HO. Both schools came in strong, but it was Amaniampong that edged ahead, finishing Round One with 29 points. OLA SHS, HO, followed with 16 points, while first-timers Juaboso SHS trailed with 11 points.

Amaniampong SHS returned in Round Two, the “Trustur AI Speed Race” with unmatched energy and precision, answering questions at lightning speed. Their performance was so fast-paced that it prompted a light-hearted remark from the quiz mistress: “I’m experiencing the speed!” By the end of the round, Amaniampong had skyrocketed to 42 points. OLA SHS, HO, managed 19 points, while Juaboso SHS remained at 11.
In Round Three, the Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star “Problem of the Day”, Amaniampong SHS demonstrated not only speed but also problem-solving prowess, earning eight out of ten points. OLA SHS, HO, followed with six points, while Juaboso SHS secured three points.
Before the start of Round Four, which is also known as the “Jupay Money Transfer True/False” round, Ola Girls’ SHS made a strategic substitution, bringing Miriam in to replace Blessing. However, Amaniampong SHS continued to dominate, widening the gap with a commanding 66 points. OLA SHS, HO, followed with 35 points, and Juaboso SHS pulled through with 21.

In a highly competitive and energetic final round, Amaniampong SHS proved once again that they were not to be taken lightly, finishing the contest with an outstanding 69 points. OLA SHS, HO, ended with a respectable 41 points, while Juaboso SHS, despite a valiant effort, concluded their debut with 24 points.
This performance marks a moment of redemption and triumph for Amaniampong SHS. After missing out on qualification last year, they have returned stronger, faster, and more focused, firmly securing their place in the One-eighth Stage of NSMQ 2025.
