Behind the Scenes with NSMQ Review Show's Jacqueline Du Baffour

The NSMQ Review Show, an insightful after-programme following a day's intense contests, shines the spotlight on the host, Jacqueline Du Baffour. Born in Ghana but having lived in the UK since she was 14 years old, Jacqueline's path to the Review Show began when she accepted the challenge presented to her by Primetime for the 30th Anniversary edition. She embraced this opportunity and has since developed a deep appreciation for the role and humbly welcomes similar future opportunities. Her eloquence in delivering the show in notably British English was a breath of fresh air.

In addition to her hosting duties, Jacqueline's professional life thrives as an Associate Director at a Global Management Consultancy in London. Her academic journey led her through the University of Manchester for her first degree and University College London for her postgraduate studies.

Beyond her professional life, Jacqueline finds solace in reading, traveling, hiking, sports, yoga, volunteering, networking, and a dedicated support for the Chelsea Football Club. Currently, she's embarking on an exciting journey to learn how to pilot a drone.

One of Jacqueline's proudest achievements is her sponsorship of the Elsie Effah Kaufmann Award at the NSMQ, inspired by the intellectual achievements of young contestants and the invaluable role of the main Quiz Mistress in the National Science & Maths Quiz. It is a celebration of the students' unwavering dedication to their studies despite the educational challenges in Ghana. The award, named after the Quiz Mistress, is a tribute to her exceptional contributions to academia.
