ST. Ignatius of Loyola makes first-ever Quarter Final

  1. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA’S SOLUTION TO THE ‘PROBLEM OF THE DAY’ Kumasi SHTS and Berekum SHS were able to get 2 points each from the complex Chemistry question. St. Ignatius of Loyola did not relent, but instead, held on and fought to the end. Before the start of the final round, the margin between St. Ignatius of Loyola SHS and Kumasi SHTS had been reduced to five. At this point, it was anyone’s game to win. In the fifth round, St. Ignatius of Loyola SHS proved mastery over the riddles to correctly provide answers to three riddles to win the contest.

  2. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA CONTESTANTS They have become the fourth school to be seeded for NSMQ2020, and in the run for the JEB Award for the Most Impressive Run. The prize scheme was instituted by the Banful Family to award a less-endowed school that causes the biggest upset or goes the farthest in the Competition. The 2019 National Science & Maths and Science Festival is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service with support from GOIL, GCB Bank, Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, Academic City College, Adansi Travels, Kenya Airways, Medifem Multi-specialist Hospital & Fertility Centre, Accra College of Medicine, Vimto, Aachen University, Entervarsity, Adesua.store, GTP, Hawtie Makeup, Chikas Beads and Pink Pearl.
