NSMQ 2025: Adisadel College Redeems Itself By Booking a Seat At The One-eighth Stage!

After losing at the One-eighth Stage to Apam SHS in last year’s National Championship, Adisadel College made an emphatic comeback, securing a well-deserved spot in this year’s One-eighth Stage of the National Championship. Adisadel College triumphed with 57 points in a keenly contested encounter against Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS and Assin State College.

The atmosphere inside the SGS Auditorium was electric as supporters from all three schools filled the venue with cheers and chants. What began as an academic contest soon turned into a spirited “jama” battle between Adisadel College and Assin State College, each determined to out-sing the other.
The contest opened on a high note, with all three schools showing strong intent. At the end of Round One, Adisadel College established an early lead with 25 points, while Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS and Assin State College followed closely behind with 21 points each.

Round Two, the Trustur AI Speed Race, saw Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS momentarily seize the lead after answering the first three questions with remarkable speed. However, Adisadel College quickly bounced back in the latter half of the round, regaining control to finish with 32 points, followed by Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS with 25 points and Assin State College with 20 points.
In the Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star, Problem of the Day, Adisadel College maintained their momentum, earning six out of 10 points to bring their total to 38 points. Assin State College managed three points, while Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS added only one point, ending the round with 26 points.

Round Four, the Jupay Money Transfer True or False, reignited excitement as Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS impressed supporters by answering all their questions correctly, prompting chants of “clean sheet” from the audience. Despite their impressive performance, Adisadel College held firm, finishing the round with 51 points, ahead of Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS with 42 points and Assin State College with 30 points.

The final round, the GOIL Riddle Bonanza, sealed Adisadel College’s victory as they picked two riddles to extend their tally to 57 points. Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS and Assin State College failed to add to their totals, ending the contest with 42 and 30 points respectively.
At the end of the fiercely contested competition, Adisadel College emerged triumphant, securing their return to the One-eighth Stage of the National Championship.
