The second day of the Sci-Tech Fair, showcased Part One of the Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge, where ten selected schools began working on innovative projects to address challenges within Ghana’s agricultural sector.

These schools are diligently developing their unique projects under the theme “Exploring Agritech Solutions to Boost Ghana’s Agricultural Industry”. This initiative offers participants the chance to transform ideas into real-world solutions, showcasing their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Meanwhile, the Sci-Tech Fair Exhibition is in full swing, featuring a variety of tech start-ups, industry leaders, and tertiary institutions alongside students displaying their innovative projects and products.
To keep the audience and guests engaged, the MC for the Sci-Tech Fair, Dr Yusif Yakubu, hosted lively pop quizzes with questions on general science, agriculture, mathematics, and engineering. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with products from Bel Beverages, a proud sponsor of the STEM Festival.
Part One of the Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge concluded at 9:15 p.m. Participants will resume work on their projects tomorrow, November 22, 2024, which also marks the grand finale of the STEM Festival. The winning school will be awarded exciting prizes and recognition for their innovative efforts.
